                  PRAYER FOR CORONA VIRUS

Lord Jesus Christ, our Divine Physician.

we ask you to guard and protect us from

the Corona Virus and all serious illness.

                  For all that have died from it, have mercy;

for those that are ill now, bring healing.

For those searching for a remedy,

                  enlighten them; for medical caregivers

helping the sick, strengthen and shield them.

For those working to contain the spread,

grant them success; for those afraid,

grant peace.  May your precious blood be our

defense and salvation.  By your grace, may

you turn the evil of disease into moments of

consolation and hope.  May we always fear

the contagion of sin more than any illness.

We abandon ourselves to your infinite mercy.

                  Amen

                  AN ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION

My Jesus, I believe that You are truly present

in the Holy Eucharist.  I love You above all things,

and I desire to receive You into my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,

come at least spiritually into my heart.  I embrace You

as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.   Amen

O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine,

all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine!

PLEASE PRAY THE CHAPLET OF DIVINE MERCY EVERY DAY. TO BRING GOD'S DIVINE MERCY TO HELP ALL WHO ARE STRUGGLING AT THIS TIME.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

St. Michael he Archangel, defend us in battle.  Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.  May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

                  Amen.

                  Prayer for Vocations

                  Prayer for Vocations:

Lord Jesus, as you once called the first disciples to make them fishers of men,

let Your sweet invitation continue to resound: Come follow Me! Give young men

and women the grace of responding quickly to Your voice. Support our bishops,

priests, and consecrated people in their apostolic labour. Grant perseverance to

our seminarians and to all those who are carrying out the ideal of a life totally

consecrated to Your service. Awaken in our community a missionary eagerness.

Lord, send workers to Your harvest and do not allow humanity to be lost for the

lack of pastors, missionaries, and people dedicated to the cause of the Gospel.

Mary, Mother of the Church, the model of every vocation, help us to say “yes”

to the Lord who calls us to cooperate in the divine plan of salvation.

                  Amen.

                  - Pope St. John Paul II
